I have a smaller portable toolkit that I keep for quick jobs around the house and this has slotted into it perfectly. The combination of laser level, spirit level and tape measure in one compact unit means I've been able to get rid of a couple of separate items and still have everything I need for the kind of everyday DIY tasks that come up regularly... hanging pictures, putting up shelves, checking things are straight before committing to drilling.The laser is the feature I've found most useful day to day. Projecting a level line across a wall takes the guesswork out of getting things straight and is considerably faster than marking points individually and joining them up. It's not a professional surveying tool and I wouldn't pretend otherwise, but for domestic DIY it's accurate enough to get reliable, neat results without any complications.The three spirit level is clear and easy to read, the built-in ruler is handy for quick measurements without reaching for a separate tape, and the 2.5m tape measure handles the jobs that need something longer. Batteries come pre-installed with spares included which is a helpful touch that means it's ready to use straight out of the box.The whole thing is compact enough to genuinely live in a smaller toolkit without taking up meaningful space, which was the main thing I needed from it. Good value for what is a versatile little tool.
